Alka Kubal (born 23 September )[1] is a Marathi film actress from Mumbai, India.
Alka Kubal is a prominent Indian actress, who works predominately in the Hindi and Marathi film industry. She was born on 23rd September in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Alka Kubal is married to cinematographer Sameer Athalye, and they have two daughters named Ishani and Kasturi. She made her debut in Hindi with the movie Chakra and made her entry into the Marathi industry with the production Lek Chalali Sasarlain a carrier spanning 40 years She has worked over Marathi and some Hindi movies. Her motion picture Maherchi Sadi made her a household name in Maharashtra. She has often played strong and complicated female characters—from fictional to literary—in both mainstream and independent films.
